His last dr. appt had him weighing 11lb 10 oz and 23in tall. Well, we know he's grown a bunch since then!!! He's grabbing at toys and is able to grab his target. He loves to stand up with someone holding his hands and also to sit up with assistance. The dr says that by 6 months he wants him sitting up on his own. Well, we figure that will be no problem for our strong guy! The dr also recommended giving him a little rice cereal each day to help him get used to using his tongue to eat food, instead of pushing it out. That has been an experience!!
This next week Mommy will be starting work back full-time and isn't too happy about it. Luckily, Nanny will be taking great care of him while we're working each day. She says he notices every time someone comes in the door and turns his head to see who it is. Of course, the customers all love him!! By the way, for those who don't already know, Daddy got a new job working as a maintenance technician for an apartment complex. Yippee! Also, Mommy and Daddy had their first date alone, since David arrived. We went out to O'Charleys and Philip, Holley and Lauren were our babysitters!!
In the past few weeks, we've taken David to the lake house twice and spent the night with Aunt Holley, Uncle Philip and Lauren. We can't wait until we get to take him out on the boat and swim with him!! We've celebrated Amber's 14th birthday, seen clowns at the circus and much more! We're just keeping so busy!
