I wanted to post some pics from Adoption Day. Many of our friends and family joined us for this momentous day: Nanny Debbie, Philip, Holley, and Lauren, Peggy, Kellie and Charles, Cheryl and Lydia and my mom's best friend, Jeanie Fox. We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful support system!!
We met with our attorney, Dawn Coppock, at 9am that morning at the Clerk and Masters Office at the City-County Building. It wasn't long before we all went in Chancellor Michael Moyers' office. It was a very quick process and Steve and I promised to love and care for David and be his parents FOREVER! It was a bit more emotional that I had expected. Of course we will be his parents!!! We feel so honored that God has chosen us to parent this amazing, beautiful little boy!!!
David wore a Hawaiian shirt, just like his Daddy. They are Steve's trademark!
Our attorney gave David a sweet rubber duck to commemorate the day, how sweet!
Afterward, some of us went to Mimi's Cafe to have brunch to celebrate. Enjoy the pics!
